I have written three paragraphs and erased them. I wanted to write something really inspirational for the new year but I don't want to sound corny and write about all of my personal goals and new years resolutions. So I will just say that the new year is a clean slate. An empty page waiting to be written. I hope this year is a great one despite the problems in the world. I hope there is opportunities for growth, and learning. I wish that everyone finds peace and happiness, and there is joy in laughter and lots of memory making.<br />Now I apologize for the corny-ness because there is no other way. My wish is that everyone is warm and happy, and hopefully with family and friends this Christmas.<br />HERE IS A PICTURE OF MY FAMILY.<br />The last time we took a family picture I only had two children. Now I have four children and one son in-law. My family is growing and will only continue to grow.<br />This past year has brought some heart aches and some great joys. Last Saturday we went and got our Christmas tree!!! We got a Douglas fur!! We would have gotten a noble but we only had 20 dollars on us and to get a noble that is $20 would have to be under 5ft!! and that would just be sad!!<br /><br />It was also sad because Alex and Bud were not able to come!! But Sam Jordan and Josh did which was good!! The tree is peaking out between her legs. The answer is yes is can get worse. It is best to not dwell on the things that are difficult and instead focus on making things better. That is is why I really like this song by Rascall Flatts "Stand" because the best thing to do when life stinks is to not let the rocking of the waves knock you down....and if it gets so bad it knocks you down, take a moment to let the dust settle and then get back up and STAND.
